Academy Closure Friday 26 June - Student Home Learning Guidance

Dear Parent/Carer,

Further to the announcement that the academy will be closed tomorrow due to the high heat forecast, below is a copy of an email which has been sent to each of our students to inform them where and how they can access work linked to their curriculum which is available to view on Microsoft Teams via their Ormiston Microsoft 365 account.

“Dear Students,

As you are aware, the academy will be closed on Friday 26 June due to the forecast of severe heat conditions.

Learning will continue remotely for all students. A full day of work has been set on Microsoft Teams, with all lesson resources and links available in one place.

To access your work:

  • Click the Microsoft Teams link provided below.
  • Log in using your Ormiston Microsoft 365 account.
  • Follow the links to each of your lessons and complete the work set by your teachers. Some subjects may also direct you to platforms such as Sparx, Seneca or Arbor.

Access Information
Please note that the Teams content can only be accessed by students and staff using their Ormiston Microsoft 365 account. Personal email accounts will not be able to view the resources.​​

If you experience any issues accessing your work, please contact your teacher via your Ormiston email account.
