This year every student will have 3 postcards a term to say thank you to someone who has made a difference.
As part of our ‘Saying Thank You’ initiative students have the opportunity to thank staff via postcards. Some like to keep these or take them home, others like to display them in their offices and classrooms. In turn, teachers have postcards to use too to tell our students how brilliant they’ve been. Postcards are given for all sorts of things including being kind, thoughtful, trying hard, challenging yourself, volunteering, helping others or being fun and raising a smile for someone. Our team loves to receive and give postcards, a few well-chosen words go a long, long way.
I love school, I’ve made really good friends which I was soooooo nervous about! There are so many different subjects to learn and my teachers make tricky things seem like I can actually learn them!
This was such an amazing opportunity, so thank you so much. I really appreciate you picking me and I will never forget it.
I would just like to say a huge thank you for everything. You have given me support and helped grow my confidence. I am so grateful for this.
Thank you for everything you have done for me and you have definitely given me the strength to realise my dreams.
Mentors will also be given a stash of postcards so if you would like one at any point of the year, just ask!
